affinity

I have been thinking a lot on affinities lately. Only wondering what mine really is? For instance my moms boyfriend has a serious affinity fr plants and the weather, weird but yeh. And then my mom definitely has a plant affinity as well. I do not have one for plants, lol.

I have really been non creative and productive this week. Well more non productive really. I have ha loads of thoughts go through my head ad realize I really need to come up with a way to organize them and not let them overwhelm me so that nothing ever gets done. I know a lot of people keep an idea journal. I wonder if I could be diligent in that! I need to be so I can get ideas down and out of my head and then move past it and keep working on what I am working on. make sense? ugh!

Also I go back to school in a month and still on the fence about it. I have man pre reqs to get out of the way before I make that final decision but I am so torn between art and going further in my current career. thoughts anyone?

I have been working as I said! Here is a journal page I finished yesterday! This was a page created following Tam's free class she hosted over on willowing.ning.com. The face still lacks a lot of definition and i need more practice with my shading, but I am overall happy with this page! :) I also made a YT video where I showed a portfolio I made check it out here!

Inspiration

I have been painting guys. And trying to be really inspired and believe in myself! All that jazz! I had a fun afternoon yesterday with my pal Mallory. We did some shopping for her some new work shoes and some other bits. Was good to spend some time out of the house a with a friend. Especially since we have been snowed in so much of this winter!

Yesterday morning I was perusing around the web and found this! I have added this to my long list of to do projects! This is the original video that inspired the lady that inspired me. If that makes sense.

yeh this happens after you work your ass for a whole year, as does your husband and every last cent you can take out comes of for taxes and YOU STILL OWE AT THE END OF THE YEAR! WTF?????????????????
